The Foolish King - NaPoWriMo Day 6

Writing a limerick again. It is self exploratory. 

... 
The foolish king enjoyed absolute sovereignty, 
He ruled over his foolish subjects by decree. 
When there was a famine. 
He built a shrine to please the divine. 
No one survived to obey the decree.
